Nine Ukrainian regions placed in quarantine as H1N1 flu hits country:
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has placed Ukraine's nine regions in quarantine in view of the H1N1 flu epidemic. A decision to that effect has been made at today's Cabinet special meeting. Ukraine's Health Ministry has today confirmed the A/H1N1 highly pathogenic influenza epidemic in Ukraine.

So here it is, in Canada the official supply of the H1N1 vaccine is untested in ANY clinical tests for children aged 6-35 months and untested for children aged 10-17 and for adults over the age of 60. Pretty much everyone I care about in there!

Now I am mad.

It is of course a fully "adjuvanted" vaccine; which in the case of Arepanrix contains both Squalene and Polysorbate 80. For those who haven't heard yet, the antigen also contains mercury. And that lovely Polysorbate 80? It is used in all sorts of things; and has been linked to some fairly serious side-effects. Like infertility. But that's OK, Polysorbate 80 also is used in manufactured ice cream. We've been eating it for years, with no major impact on fertility rates... or has it?

Funny how the western world now resorts to all sorts of fertility treatments...

Of more interest to the flu jab, Polysorbate 80 can affect your immune system and cause severe anaphylactic shock which can kill.

Product Information Leaflet Arepanrix™ H1N1 AS03-Adjuvanted H1N1 Pandemic Influenza Vaccine

Contents of the vaccine (at least they aren't hiding the Mercury like some countries are trying to do):
After combining and mixing the two components, 0.5mL of the resultant emulsion is withdrawn into a syringe for intramuscular injection. The final composition of each vaccine component per 0.5mL dose is as follows:

Antigen:
Split influenza virus, inactivated, containing antigen* equivalent to:
A/California/7/2009 (H1N1)v-like strain (X-179A) 3.75µg HA** per 0.5mL dose
* isolated from virus propagated in eggs
** HA = haemagglutinin

Preservative content is 5µg Thimerosal USP per 0.5mL dose or 2.5 micrograms organic mercury (Hg) per 0.5mL dose

Adjuvant:
DL-α-tocopherol 11.86 milligrams/0.5mL dose
Squalene 10.69 milligrams/0.5mL dose,
Polysorbate 80 4.86 milligrams/0.5mL dose

The suspension and emulsion vials, once mixed, form a multidose vaccine in a vial. See section Nature and Contents of Container for the number of doses per vial.

The listed 'Excipients' ("inactive substance used as a carrier" in plain english):
Antigen suspension vial: Thimerosal, sodium chloride, disodium hydrogen phosphate, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, potassium chloride, water for injections. The drug substance contains trace residual amounts of egg proteins, formaldehyde, sodium deoxycholate and sucrose.

Adjuvant emulsion vial: sodium chloride, disodium hydrogen phosphate, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, potassium chloride, water for injections.

Yummy in the tummy. Let's give it to all the children!

Of note here - the clinical studies listed this frightening caution on a pair of tests run on lab rats:
"Two reproductive studies were conducted with AS03-adjuvanted H5N1 antigen and evaluated the effect on embryo-fetal and peri-and post-natal development in rats, following intramuscular administration. Although no definite conclusion could be reached, regarding a possible relation to treatment with the H5N1 vaccine and/or the adjuvant AS03, and other findings were considered normal, the following observations deserve to be mentioned: In the first study, there was an increased incidence of fetal malformations with markedly medially thickened/kinked ribs and bent scapula as well as an increased incidence of dilated ureter and delayed neurobehavioral maturation. In the second study, there was an increased incidence of post-implantation loss, and the fetal variation of dilated ureter. Not all findings were observed in both studies, and hence the toxicological significance is uncertain."

"Uncertain." How quaint. "delayed neurobehavioral maturation" - ie their brains don't grow very well. And they are suggesting this vaccine for pregnant women and young children as a priority?

The closest thing to a 'clinical study' involving children age 3-9 years was performed using Pandermix (not manufactured or dosed in the same way as Arepanrix) on 98 children. Gee I feel all warm and fuzzy over that the safety of this vaccine now!

The listed side effects are very similar to the Pandemrix vaccine being touted around Europe right now:

As with all medicines, AREPANRIX™ H1N1can cause side effects. The very common and common side effects are usually mild and should only last a day or two.

Very common (may occur with more than 1 in 10 doses):

* Pain at the injection site
* Headache
* Fatigue
* Redness or swelling at the injection site
* Shivering
* Sweating
* Aching muscles, joint pain

Common (may occur with up to 1 in 10 doses):

* Reactions at the injection site such as bruising, itching and warmth
* Fever
* Swollen lympth nodes
* Feeling sick, diarrhea

Uncommon (may occur with up to 1 in 100 doses):

* Dizziness
* Generally feeling unwell
* Unusual weakness
* Vomiting, stomach pain, uncomfortable feeling in the stomach or belching after eating
* Inability to sleep
* Tingling or numbness of the hands or feet
* Shortness of breath
* Pain in the chest
* Itching, rash
* Pain in the back or neck, stiffness in the muscles, muscle spasms, pain in extremity such as leg or hand

Rare (may occur with up to 1 in 1000 doses):

* Allergic reactions leading to a dangerous decrease of blood pressure, which, if untreated, may lead to shock. Doctors are aware of this possibility and have emergency treatment available for use in such cases
* Fits
* Severe stabbing or throbbing pain along one or more nerves
* Low blood platelet count which can result in bleeding or bruising

Very Rare (may occur with up to 1 in 10,000 doses):

* Vasculitis (inflammation of the blood vessels which can cause skin rashes, joint pain and kidney problems)
* Neurological disorders such as encephalomyelitis (inflammation of the central nervous system), neuritis (inflammation of nerves) and a type of paralysis known a Guillain-Barré Syndrome

At least the Canadian Government is telling people about the chance of getting Guillain-Barré Syndrome.

This is a huge science experiment on the human race, about to go very very wrong.

On the 13th of October, Gary Null, a researcher on the causes of Autism, presented the data behind the safety and effectiveness of Influenza Vaccines.

It's a bit long, if you're short on time, watch the second one.

As a counter point to the credentials of Gary Null, there are some in mainstream medicine who dispute him, and his findings. He certainly is a persuasive presenter. I can understand the arguments against him when dealing with his 'alternative' medicines. However, on the point of the testing and damage caused by influenza vaccines, he is getting his information from recognized studies carried out over many years by many scientists. Please be aware that Gary Null does not have a Medical Doctorate. His PhD is in Human Nutrition.

The science is seriously flawed and the fact that there are no long term double blind studies on these vaccines is worrying.

The New York State's Department of Health's official PR person, said this in response to Gary Null's earlier comments on the Swine Flu vaccine - "methods used to make the seasonal flu vaccine are so well established that they don’t use clinical trials anymore. By contrast, clinical trials were performed for the H1N1 vaccine and it has been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration". Um, has anyone seen the studies? Was it a real study? Or was it, as Mr. Null contends, using flawed science with unusual reactions removed?

The World Health Organisation's official definition of a Pandemic has been changed since May 2009; removing the words "resulting in epidemics worldwide causing enormous numbers of death and illness." Why was this removed? You decide.

A glimmer of hope for Europe?

"The long-running saga of the Lisbon Treaty ratification has taken a new twist after Slovakia said it wanted to reopen negotiations.

The country's prime minister said he might seek similar opt-out clauses to those being negotiated by neighbour, the Czech Republic.

Robert Fico argued that Slovakia needed the same protection from post-war property claims that the Czech president had demanded."

It appears that some very large cracks may be appearing at the last minute in the drama that is the Lisbon Treaty - the creation of a federalised Europe, following the apparent 'YES' vote from Ireland!

"The latest obstacles have been presented by the Czechs and Slovaks who are concerned they could face claims from the decedents of millions of people who were expelled from the region after the war.

They fear ethnic Germans and Hungarians – 2.5 million of whom were expelled from Czechoslovakia after the war under the policies of Edvard Benes, the former president – may try to win back their property."

I so hope something dramatic happens, which will force an early election in the UK; for there is the smallest of chances the UK Conservative party will finally hold a UK referendum on the Lisbon Treaty in the UK.

Would the UK vote no? Following a currency collapse, it is very very unlikely. I will most likely soon be a citizen of Europe, and not the UK. Guess I'll need a new (chipped) passport soon.

Let us pray that the Slovenian government has the ba??s to stand up to the roller coaster coming their way!
